More Benoni with family visits
and another smaller celebration for Mom

Mandy's favourite place
to curl up... in the morning only! |

We visited Jackie today
and had a delicious meal with her. This is the street where
she now lives. |
|
|

We went shopping most
days. Geoff took photos, during most of those visits, of
things that he found strange or unusual. |
|
|
|

On most days we went
out on foot, walking past Bruce's old primary school to
get to the shopping centre where there was a coffee shop.
He was amazed to see his old classroom looking exactly the
same as it did more than 50 years ago! |

The party wasn't over!
Ed and Carol also wanted to help Mom celebrate, so we went
out to lunch with them at a different restaurant. |
|

Northmead Square shopping
centre. We walked here from the house on most days. |

Another visit to Mom's
place. Snowy was there once again... |

...and demanded plenty
of attention, as ever. |

Geoff was more than willing
to oblige and soon became Snowy's best friend! |

That evening, Geoff
cooked a delicious meal for Des, Jenny and Justin. Mandy
seemed very interested in what he was doing! |

Wednesday 11th March

|
| |
Farrarmere Square (as
distinct from Northmead Square) is another shopping centre
that we went to frequently. It wasn't within walking distance,
but it had a better coffee shop, the "Mugg & Bean".
It was also close to where Mom lives, so we didn't mind
driving slightly further (in the car which Des and Jenny
had kindly allowed us to use as much as we wanted to). |

Mom is lucky to live
in a home which has such a nice garden, lovingly maintained
by Andrea. |

We met Marc and Clare
for lunch at the Woolworth's cafe. |
|
|
| |
Jenny hosted us for dinner.
Once again, Mandy was clearly very interested! |
