Bruce had booked his
flight several months in advance and used points to upgrade
to business class for the outbound journey. Later, Geoff
decided to go too because it was for a special occasion.
He had to book a separate ticket and was subsequently offered
a good deal to upgrade to first class. Luckily Bruce got
the same deal on the return flight, hence going there in
two different cabins, but returning together in first class. |
