Day 10: At sea

At sea between Colombo, Sri Lanka
and Cochin, India.

Our original itinerary
had us sailing overnight to the Indian port of Trivandrum
(Thiruvananthapuram). However, it was discovered well before
the trip that the port was not designated for international
arrivals, meaning we would be unable to dock there. Instead,
we were to sail directly to our next scheduled stop, Cochin
(Kochi). As this couldn’t be done overnight, a full
day at sea was added to the journey. |

After all the excitement
of the last few days, we were very happy to have a relaxing
day at sea. We didn't do too much! |

Neil entertained us with
some Elton John tunes before dinner. We enjoyed that very
much. |
|

We were looking forward
to our arrival back in India tomorrow and to visiting places
we had never been to before, but which had long been on
our bucket list. |
