A named storm was sweeping
over the island and we could tell that the locals weren't
accustomed to this sort of weather. The plant based roof
and the big tent at the restaurant hadn't coped very well
with the deluge overnight and we had to dodge the dripping
roof at breakfast time. We did wonder if the restaurant
would even open for dinner in the evening. |

We had booked a table
at the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised to discover
that it was open and that the staff had worked hard during
the day to make it dry again. The meal itelf was excellent
and a fitting last meal for our holiday. |

Christmas lights had
appeared in the complex in the last couple of days. Oh well,
at least they were discreet. |
