A quiet Tuesday followed by
a slightly more energetic Wednesday

Tuesday.

A rather splendid Swan Necked Aloe from the shower room window.

Dinner at the villa once again this evening, preceded by drinks outside. We had bought the fried egg crisps on our shopping trip to Superdino this morning. With a little imagination, you could taste the egg. "7/10 - quite nice" was Geoff's verdict. The Anna de Codorniu was our favourite cava.

Wednesday.

In the morning, we walked in a straight line down to the old town and then walked along the shore towards the town centre. We hadn't done this walk before and it proved to be rather pleasant.

In the evening we visited the Mardeleva Restaurant in the old town. It is set quite high up, overlooking the harbour.

The meal was lovely and, combined with the view, we had a memorable evening. It was the first time we’d had barracuda - but not the last!

No sooner had we started eating than we had two or three little visitors popping up from the slope below us. They were rewarded with a few morsels, but we weren't giving them any more than that!

Looking down, we saw some people feeding the small colony of cats. We hoped that they were regular feeders.

Our holiday was nearing an end, but if we'd had more time, we'd definitely have come back to this restaurant.
