We flew to Ljubljana,
where we stayed in the heart of the old town for two nights.
From there we visited Lake Bled. On day three, we were driven
across the Italian border to Trieste, where we stayed for
a further three nights before returning to Ljubljana for
our flight home. The trip was arranged by Audley, with whom
we had travelled several times before. Despite travelling
on our own, we didn't have to worry about arranging transport
or guides, because it was all done for us, as we had come
to expect from Audley. We did have to make our own dining
arrangements, but were given lots of recommendations, all
of which proved to be very good. In summary, we had a thoroughly
indulgent six days away. |
