Day return from
Kandersteg to Bern

Friday, 2nd October 2015

We didn't follow any of the suggestions. Instead, we took the train to Bern and had a lovely day there.
The train from Kandersteg to Bern.
For the first half of the hour long journey, we were the only ones in the carriage!

Bern Minster

After visiting the Minster, Bruce decided to climb the bell tower, which is open to the public for a small fee (5F). The lower viewing platform requires a climb of 254 steps. Not content with that, he then climbed a further 90 steps to the upper spire!
At the first level.... just in case!

Just to prove that he was up there!
