2008: Cornwall - Padstow

In October 2008, we spent a week in Cornwall.

We stayed in Padstow for a couple of nights, followed by five nights in and around St. Ives.
The weather started off a little wet, but became lovely and warm as the week progressed.
We stayed at St. Petroc's hotel.
From our window, there were some good views of the harbour area.

We went to Prideaux Place and spent some time walking around the grounds

Later that afternoon, we walked along the Camel Trail for a couple of miles. From the old railway bridge we saw a man digging for something. We met him later when we were walking back and saw the results of his dig... a bucket of worms for bait.

A glass of champagne at our hotel before setting off to the Seafood Restaurant.

Geoff really enjoyed his seafood starter and we both had turbot for our main course. It was excellent.
