We left London on 2nd July and arrived in Calgary after a good 9-hour day flight on BA. We stayed in the Delta Bow Valley Hotel, which was fine. We had some good views from our room.

We were only in Calgary one full day, so we only had a quick tour of the highlights. We started by ascending the Calgary Tower, which has a rather scary glass floor, allowing one to stand and look down to the street below. Wonderful views of the city and the Rocky Mountains in the distance.
