Day 4: A morning in Yaroslavl

  
 
 

Thursday, 15th October 1998

 
We travelled along the Volga until we reached Yaroslavl.
Finally the clouds had lifted and we enjoyed the bright Autumn sunshine. But it was cold!

We were soon off the ship and were taken for a tour of the city and its fascinating and beautiful churches, some dating back to the 17th century.
